Framed in the mid-range range, Galaxy A72 5G will be one of the most attractive options for purchasing a Samsung 5G phone.
As the name suggests, this is the direct successor to the Galaxy A71 5G. But the design used is more like the cheaper Galaxy A52 5G version, adapted with a more spacious screen.
Expected at the beginning of 2021, the new Samsung phone will be presented in an aluminum case with a plastic back. The 6.7-inch screen integrates the fingerprint sensor, has a single perforation applied to the front camera and is delimited by a relatively thin frame.
Four cameras can be seen in the back. Probably not very different from the A72 model without 5G, the phone could have a main camera with 64MP resolution, 12MP ultra-wide mode, 8MP camera with 3X optical zoom, macro sensors and DoF with 5MP resolution. The front camera could be a 32MP model, optimized for selfie photos and video calls.
According to the sketches provided, Galaxy A72 5G measures 165 x 77.4 x 8.1 mm (9.9 mm thick, if we include the camera module). At the top you can also see a headphone output, 3.5mm jack.
For reference, the current A71 model comes equipped with a 6.7 ”Full HD + screen, Snapdragon 730 chipset with 2.2 GHz CPU, respectively 6GB / 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
