Fire crews were fighting a vegetation fire in the hills of Sunol on Saturday that had burned 75 acres, fire officials said.
The fire was off of Sheridan Road and brought out crews from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Alameda Fire, and the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.
Planes also responded and dropped retardant on the area, according to fire officials. The blaze started around 2 p.m.
It was not known immediately whether any homes or businesses were threatened or what started the blaze.
